Schramm has been part of the Broring collection for more than two decades. Founded in 1923, this German company built a unique reputation as a producer of high-quality handmade beds and mattresses. Schramm beds can compete with the top international brands, and with specific innovations they even surpass them in a number of ways. What makes Schramm beds unique?
Schramm often thinks outside the box (spring) and this results in special innovations. What is unique is not so much the combination of a box spring and a mattress. The incorporation of thermally treated steel springs into the mattresses is. These super springs are formed via heating and cooling so that they are and remain extremely dimensionally stable. They are individually wrapped in cotton pockets, with plenty of room to move and without the need for gluing. The springs are covered with a layer of high-quality Talalay latex and exclusively natural materials, including wool, cashmere and silk. Via so-called blind netting, all layers are connected to each other, without a visible "knot" at the top.
Unique technology
Schramm's box springs are also far from standard. What immediately stands out is the low height of the Schramm box springs, which gives the combination an elegant look. There is still space left under the box spring and often it is even possible to install the Schramm box spring system in an existing bed frame. The best box spring ventilates well and processes the energy that the mattress transfers to it. This is where another unique Schramm technology comes into play: the "Secondary Contour Adjustment" (S.C.A.). Via an electrically operated remote control, the box spring can create extra space in the shoulder area and more support for the pelvic area. This provides a very refined, personalized support for the mattress. Schramm offers a choice of nine different electrically adjustable box springs, the top model of which is controlled by seven motors.
Two-piece sleeping system
With Schramm beds, you choose a perfectly matched combination of a flexible mattress and a stable box spring. This ensures total relaxation and recovery of body and mind. The mattress tailored to your body reacts very precisely to your individual sleeping habits and adapts perfectly to your body shapes. This ensures the highest level of comfort and security.
The stable box spring evenly springs every movement, providing comfortable support for a wonderful night's sleep. The Schramm sleep system can be placed free-standing, possibly combined with one of the two lines of Schramm beds: Basic and Gala. The sleep system can also be easily integrated into an existing bed frame.
