Slatted base with red wave slat
How do you achieve the highest sleep comfort? Swissflex has been combining innovative strength with Swiss craftsmanship and technical expertise for decades. This has produced some great achievements. For example, Swissflex developed the unique red wave slat in 1983, which has been further developed since then. The wave slats support and distribute the weight across the entire width of the bed. With stronger loads, the red wave slat in the base is activated and takes over the additional spring comfort. This automatically provides support that is independent of sleeping or sitting position and body shape. It ensures that the slatted base and mattress fit together perfectly and provide maximum comfort.
Swissflex bridge technology
The right slatted base with the right mattress determines the sleeping comfort of a Swissflex bed. The combination supports the body where the pressure is greatest and springs along where less weight rests. Swissflex has the exclusive patent for the bridge technology developed in-house: the result of combining innovative technologies and extensive scientific research. What makes the Bridge technology so special? Inspired by the human spine, a slat base technology was developed that automatically, individually and optimally adapts to every physical desire and sleeping position, both horizontally and vertically. The self-regulating slats provide natural counter pressure at various pressure points of the body. The individual slats are interconnected and react precisely to changes in body pressure. Whether you sleep on your side or on your back, the sleeping surface adapts to your body across its full width and does not incline even when loaded on one side. Your body is therefore anatomically perfectly balanced in every position, independent of posture and weight. This ensures perfect ergonomics and a weightless lying sensation. The slatted base is therefore also ideal for relieving or resolving back pain.
Beech slats
Where the competition often uses birch slats, Swissflex exclusively uses high-quality beech slats. These are more stable and durable. The special processing method creates an exceptionally strong and durable material that is at the same time very flexible. The thickness of the slats is optimized for each body zone based on our own research results. This means perfect lying comfort on both narrow and wide slatted bases.
Swissflex mattresses: red wave
Swissflex mattresses conform perfectly to every body shape. Head, shoulders and pelvis are anatomically correctly supported. Typical Swissflex is the one-piece mattress core, in which the unique Gomtex red wave is placed. This mattress core ensures unprecedented smooth transitions. This creates integral lying comfort that has a deeply relaxing effect on the entire musculature and ensures a perfect night's sleep.
GELTEX®inside
GELTEX® is a Recticel innovation that offers an exceptionally high level of sleeping comfort. The combination of high-elastic gel and breathable foam fulfills the triple formula for a healthy night's sleep: pressure reduction and support thanks to the high-elastic gel content and optimized breathability thanks to the open cell structure at micro level. The bed climate, together with the antibacterial protection, ensures hygiene in bed. Thanks to optimized ventilation, you are less likely to feel too hot or too cold.

Pure sheep's wool of 1A quality, exclusively from Swiss sheep, is used in all Swissflex mattress covers. No combing or other recycled materials are included as filling material in any Swissflex mattress cover. Swissflex wool fiber is known for its strong temperature regulating properties. Its high fluffiness allows the fiber to retain air and produce heat. In addition, this fiber can absorb up to a third of its own weight in water without feeling damp. Swissflex sheep's wool is also known for its dirt-repellent, self-cleaning and odorless properties. Swissflex thus guarantees the highest quality and the most comfortable bed environment.
Swissflex models
There are Swissflex beds with or without motors. The beds with motors offer the highest comfort: at the touch of a button you sit or lie the way you want. With the radio-controlled and directionally insensitive controls, you easily adjust this with the most ideal support. The almost noiseless low current motors are disconnected from mains power in the idle position. So you are protected from electric current and always sleep soundly. With the models without motors, you have the choice of a flat basic model and some differently adjustable versions. Would you like to adjust the back surface pneumatically? Or would you rather adjust the head, back or foot section manually? With Swissflex, it's entirely up to you.
