Create your own bed
The Basis bed program is one of Schramm's two major bed lines and naturally includes the Schramm sleep system, which consists of a mattress and a box spring, guaranteeing high sleeping comfort. Basis offers numerous variation possibilities with a wide choice of headboards, footboards, panel covers, flounces or bed skirts, which can be combined with different panel heights (Basis 12, 18 and 25). You choose your preferred bed components and Schramm will create the unique one you want. When you choose Schramm Basis, you are choosing highly functional sleeping comfort and, at the same time, durable bed design.Three characteristics
The Basic bed stands out because of three features:
- The constructive unity of box spring and bed frame. The springs are slightly recessed thanks to the luxurious workmanship by Schramm's upholsterers. This creates a kind of inlay, in which the mattress lies securely and optically correct. This principle is decisive for the appearance of the bed, because only in this way can the mattress lie freely and flat all around on the box spring.
- The flat position of the mattress on the box spring (Base 18 or 25) ensures the possibility of turning a twin bed into two optically and functionally full-sized beds.
- An upholstered panel of 12, 18 or 25 cm height, which can also disappear behind a bed skirt or flounce if desired. The upholstery is removable. Using leather or supplying your own fabric is also a possibility.
