The cover is made of Belgian damask and quilted using traditional methods. The quilting secures the filling directly within the cover, ensuring that the comfort layers remain in place and the mattress retains its character even after intensive use. Belgian damask features a tightly woven structure with a pleasant, fresh feel that lasts for years without losing its properties.

Directly beneath the cover is a generous layer of certified Swiss merino wool. Weighing 300 gr/m², this substantial filling works in two ways: in the winter, the wool retains heat; in the summer, it absorbs moisture and allows it to evaporate, ensuring that the sleeping environment always remains balanced. Merino wool is also naturally resilient and retains its loft without compressing over time.

At its core is a fine-tuned, multi-zone pocket spring system in which each spring responds independently to body weight. This provides precise, personalized support without transferring movement from one side of the mattress to the other—an essential feature for people who sleep together.

Two layers of high-quality European cold foam are arranged around the spring core, each serving its own purpose. The lighter upper foam layer adds suppleness to the transition between the wool and the springs and provides a soft, enveloping first impression when you lie down. The denser lower layer forms a stable base beneath the springs, which contributes to the longevity of the entire structure and prevents the core from sagging over time.

The result is a mattress with a total height of approximately 25 that, thanks to its combination of natural and technical materials, offers both climate regulation and lasting support—without unnecessary complexity, but with a clear focus on quality in every detail.
