From his studio in Amsterdam, he designs a wide range of projects, from exclusive villas to stylish restaurants, worldwide. Kolenik’s designs are characterized by a natural, rich aesthetic and sustainable production, as reflected in the Eco Chic Awareness Label he initiated. Broring The sleep specialists at Broring advise Robert Kolenik’s clients on healthy sleep. The luxurious and exclusive bed collection complements Robert Kolenik’s interior styling perfectly.
A partnership that breathes
Bröring and Kolenik have been collaborating for over ten years now. During that time, a bond of mutual trust has developed in which our roles complement each other perfectly: Robert, as an architect and interior designer, creates the overall vision, while Bröring supplies the beds, textiles, and accessories that complete the bedroom.
This collaboration spans everything from private villas to international residences and high-profile trade shows and events, such as the presentation of Salon Residence at the Singer Laren Museum, where Kolenik and Bröring together brought a boutique hotel experience to life.

Projects
A selection of residences where Robert Kolenik designed the architectural layout and we completed the bedrooms with custom-made beds, bedding, and accessories.
Rotterdam Residence
Rotterdam, Netherlands
A distinctive urban residence in which Kolenik was given complete creative freedom. Above the bed hangs the poetic “Fragile Future” light sculpture by Studio Drift; below it lies the bed and headboard by Bröring, a haven of calm in an interior of marble, oak, and sculptural lines.
De Hooch Pied-à-Terre
Amsterdam, Netherlands
In this 250-square-meter apartment near the Rijksmuseum, Kolenik combined New York flair with Amsterdam tranquility. Bröring supplied the bed, textiles, and bedroom accessories that complete this urban retreat.

For this tropical villa, Kolenik designed an interior that combines natural materials with architectural finesse. Bröring supplied a FreshBed, perfectly suited to the warm climate thanks to its unique cooling and ventilation technology.

Thanks to this close collaboration, Robert Kolenik designed a special version of the FreshBed exclusively for Bröring: a climate-controlled sleeping system featuring the signature ventilation and temperature control, finished with upholstery bearing Kolenik’s unique signature.
