Schramm Base: configure your own bed

The Basic bed range is one of the two large Schramm bed lines and naturally includes the Schramm sleeping system, which consists of a mattress and a box spring to ensure a high level of sleeping comfort. Basis offers a wide range of variation possibilities with a wide choice of headboards, footboards, panel covers, flounces or bed covers, which can be combined with different panel heights (Basis 12, 18 and 25). You choose the bed components of your choice and Schramm will make the desired, unique specimen for you. When you choose Schramm Basis, you choose a highly functional sleeping comfort and at the same time a durable bed design.

Three characteristics
The Basic bed is characterized by three characteristics:

• •The structural unit of box spring and bed frame. The springs are slightly recessed thanks to the luxurious workmanship of the Schramm upholsterers. The result is a kind of insert tray in which the mattress lies securely and visually correctly. This principle is decisive for the appearance of the bed, because it is the only way to ensure that the mattress can lie freely and flush on the box spring all around.
• •The flatness of the mattress on the box spring (Basic 18 or 25) ensures that you can turn a twin bed into two optically and functionally complete beds.
• •An upholstered panel of 12, 18 or 25 cm in height, which can also disappear behind a saddle or frill if required. The upholstery is removable. The use of leather or the delivery of your own fabric is also possible.

In addition to the non-adjustable box spring and the hand-adjustable headboard, the Basic 12, 18 and 25 models offer a wide range of electrically adjustable box springs, which form a constructive unit with the bed frame.
